Snailkill Insecticide is used against snails, slugs and giant African snails. It is recommended for citrus, rubber, rice, tea and vegetables. For best results, apply it in the evening near affected areas, crawling paths, plant bases or between crop rows where snails and slugs are commonly seen.

• Mode of Entry: Contact and Ingestion
• Mode of Action: Metaldehyde acts on target molluscs through contact and ingestion action. After ingestion, it is rapidly hydrolyzed to acetaldehyde. This causes snails and slugs to produce excess mucus, leading to dehydration and eventual death.
• Time of Application: Evening application in affected areas

Snailkill Insecticide Dosage & Recommended Crops

• Method of Application

Bait Application: Find the affected areas in the evening and place small quantities of Snailkill bait near crawling paths, plant bases, between crop rows or other places where snails and slugs are seen. Apply about 50 to 80 g per 100 sq. ft. Area.

• Best Time to Apply

Apply Snailkill Insecticide in the evening, when snails and slugs are more active. Place the bait close to the affected area, near the plant base or between crop rows where snail and slug movement is noticed.

Compatibility, Safety & Storage

Tank Mix Compatibility

• Tank mixing is not applicable because Snailkill is a ready to use pellet bait. Do not mix it with water or other spray products unless specifically recommended on the product label.
