An Insect growth regulator (IGR) having stomach action which acts by inhibiting chitin synthesis process during larval stages of insects thus bringing mortality. It has unique mode of action, different from exiting insecticides & thus making it suitable in IPM & IRM. It gives long duration control of DBM in crucifers, Spodoptera & Heliothis on various crops apart from controlling other chewing insects.

|Application||Rimon on Cabbage & Cauliflower should be sprayed 20 – 22 days after transplanting (primordial stage) to ensure proper control at critical stage of crop. Second spray of Rimon should be done alternated with other groups of insecticides. On tomato & cotton, it is recommended at fruit setting & square formation respectively to ensure good amount of fruits & bolls. Do not undertake more than two sprays in a season.|
|Compatibility||It is compatible with commonly used pesticides. It is advisable to conduct a physical compatibility test before using in combination with other molecules.|
