  • Fluton Insecticide is a new generation of green label contact insecticide, based on the active ingredient flubendiamide from the novel class of diamide insecticides group.
  • It is active by ingestion against all the stages of caterpillar pests.
  • Fluton is fast acting resulting in rapid cessation of feeding which leads to damage control immediately after treatment.

Fluton Insecticide Technical Details

  • Technical Name: Flubendiamide 20% WG
  • Mode of Action: Fluton has contact action. Ryanodine Receptor Modulator affects the Calcium flow leading to muscle contraction and paralysis of target pests. It is active by ingestion against all the stages of caterpillar pests.

  • Fluton Insecticide controls all major caterpillars both preventive and curative treatment., so there is no need for a tank mix for controlling the different types of caterpillars.
  • It provides assured control due to new unique RRM technology where the exposed larva shrinks and becomes inactive due to contraction of the muscle.
  • Fluton has no cross-resistance to conventional & new chemistry products and provides long-duration control by which frequent application is not required.
  • It is safer for beneficial insects and hence has a good fit in IPM & IRM and is safe to plant, applicator and environment when used as per recommendation.

  • Method of Application: Foliar spray

Additional Information

  • Avoid inhalation and skin contact while diluting because of spillages or splashes.
  • Do not mix with bare hands.
  • It is recommended to wear fully protective clothing, which includes rubber gloves and rubber boots. The face should be covered with a dust mask or respirator and an overall or rubber apron hood or hat.
  • Use of high concentrations with low and ultra-low volume application equipment is dangerous and should be avoided.
  • Wash application equipment thoroughly before spraying any other pesticide.
  • Keep away farm stocks from the sprayed areas for at least two weeks.
