Dhanustin Fungicide is a Dhanuka product containing Carbendazim 50% WP. It is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide with protective and curative action.

Dhanustin Fungicide is recommended in crops such as paddy, wheat, barley, tapioca, cotton, jute, groundnut, sugar beet, peas, cluster beans, cucurbits, brinjal, apple, grapes, walnut, rose, ber, chillies, moong, cowpea and tobacco. It is used to control Blast, sheath blight, loose smut, set rot, leaf spot, seedling blight, tikka leaf spot, powdery mildew, anthracnose, fruit rot, scab, downy leaf spot, damping off, web blight, collar rot and frogeye spot.

  • Mode of Action: Dhanustin is a benzimidazole group fungicide. It mainly works by inhibiting the development of germ tubes, formation of appressoria and growth of mycelia. By blocking these early infection stages, it gives both protective action against new infection and curative action against existing disease establishment.
  • Time of Application: Apply when disease appears in the crop. For seed treatment, apply before sowing.

Foliar Spray and Wet Slurry Seed Treatment: Apply Dhanustin Fungicide as a foliar spray where crop wise water volume is mentioned. For seed treatment crops, treat the seed uniformly with the recommended dose before sowing.

For seed treatment, apply Dhanustin before sowing. For foliar spray, apply as per the crop and disease recommendation.
