- Kasu B is produced by fermentation of Streptomyces kasugaensis.
- It translocates into the plants, very rapidly and effectively thus controls the diseases.
- It is an effective antibiotic for the control of blast disease on rice and early blight in Tomato crop.

- Mode of Action: Kasu B inhibits protein biosynthesis, hence reduces bacterial growth & reproduction.
