Tag Agent Insecticide

Description:

• Tag Agent is a highly effective, broad spectrum granular insecticide containing the active ingredient Fipronil. It has the potential value for control of a wide range of agricultural crops, public health, amenity and veterinary pests. Tag Agent is a member of a class of insecticides called phenyl pyrazoles. It works by disrupting the central nervous system of insects.

Usage

• Crops
• Rice, Cabbage, & Sugarcane.
• Pests
• It is used to control insects like stem borer, brown plant hopper, green leaf hopper, rice leaf folder, rice gall midge, white backed plant hopper and whorl maggot etc ,on rice . Diamond back moth in cabbage . Thrips, Aphids, fruit borer and chilli early root & shoot borer of sugarcane crop.
• Time of Application
• Rice : between 25 to 30 days after transplanting.
• Cabbage : first spray to be given at 30 to 35 days after transplanting or when pest incidence is noticed, which ever is earlier. Repeat 2 to 3 sprayer at 7 to 10 days interval.
• Chilli : First spray is to be given at 40 to 50 days after transplanting or when pest incidence is noticed, which ever is earlier. Repeat 2 to 3 spray at 1 to 10 days interval. Sugarcane : For earlier shoot borer foliar application at 35 days after planting (DAP) and root borer drenching of salts and soil at planting.
