Sun Bio Derma Technical Details

• Technical Name: Trichoderma viride
• Mode of Action: It acts on the plant pathogens through competition for space and nutrients, parasitization, disintegration of pathogen hyphae by enzymes and antagonism by Trichoderma viride. Apart from this, Trichoderma viride metabolites also stimulate seed germination, root and plant growth and early flower formation. Trichoderma is antagonistic to many pathogenic fungi. It is a fast growing fungus which multiplies and forms a protective shield around root system and thus preventing the attack by pathogenic fungi. It suppresses the growth of the pathogenic fungi by myco parasitism and antibiosis. It is also known to produce toxic metabolites against pathogenic fungi.

Recommended Crops: All Crops

Targeted Diseases: It prevents Damping off, Wilt, Stem-rot, Root-rot, Black spots of the leaves, colour change and pigmentation of leaves.

Dosage and Method of Application

• Seed / Planting material Treatment (Per Kg): Mix10 ml of Sun Bio Derma in cold jaggery solution and apply evenly on seed / planting material surface. Dry treated seed in shade before sowing.
• Seedling Treatment: Mix 10 ml of Sun Bio Derma in 1 L of water and dip seedling roots for 5-10 minutes before transplanting.
• Soil Application (Per Acre): Mix 1L of Sun Bio Derma with 50-100 kg of well decomposed manure or cake.
• Drenching: Mix 10 ml of Sun Bio Derma in 1 L of water and apply near root zone by drenching.
• Fertigation (Per Acre): Mix 1-2 L of Sun Bio Derma in water and apply in the root zone through drip system.
• Spraying: Mix 5ml Sun Bio Derma in 1L of water and spray early morning or late evening.
