Red Hunter (922) is a watermelon variety that shows very good tolerance to DM (Downy Mildew) and PM (Powdery Mildew). It is noted for its uniform shape and size and is suitable for longer transportation. The plant has very strong vigor and dense foliage. It is recommended for sowing during the Early Summer, Late Rainy, and Early Winter periods.

The fruit has a Uniform Oblong shape, and its rind color changes to Dark green to black on maturity. The flesh is an Attractive Deep Red color. It is classified in the Ice Box-Black segment. Fruit weight typically ranges from 4 – 6 kg. The sweetness level is high, measuring 11–12 Brix. Maturity occurs relatively early, approximately 75–80 days after sowing
