Features

• Protects crops from various seed, soil and air-borne diseases caused by pathogens including Phytium, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Anthracnose, Alternaria, Leaf spot, Cercospora etc.

Mode of Action

• Pseudomonas fluorescens utilizes seed and root exudates to multiply in the rhizopshere of the soils.
• It also produces siderophore which chelates with iron in the soil, and makes it difficult for the pathogens to proliferate.
• It secretes several plant growth substances, and these gibberellins like compound’s contribute to vigorus and inhibit the growth of disease causing pathogens.
• It induces systemic resistance in host plant and also produces secondary metabolite (2, 4 - DAPG) 2, 4 - diacetyl phloroglucinol which is responsible for antiphyto pathogenic and bio control properties.

Dosage

• Seed Treatment: Mix 8-10 gm. in 50 ml. water and apply on 1 kg of seed uniformly. Dry in shade for 20-30 minutes before sowing.
• Transplanting: Dissolve 500 gm. in 50 liters of water, dip seedling roots for about 30 minutes in the solution and transplant immediately.
• Soil Application: Mix 500 gm. in 10 kg of well-decomposed Fym/Compost/Vermi compost and broadcast in 400 Sq.mt. area. Incorporate in soil up to 15-20 cm depth.
• Drenching: Mix 1-2 kg in 200 liters of water and drench the soil in 1 acre.
• Fruit Trees: Mix 50-100 gm. per plant in sufficient quantity of well-decomposed FYM/Vermi compost/Compost/field soil and apply in the effective root zone of fruit tree.
• Dosage will change depending on the age of the crop.
• Field Application: Mix 1 kg with 150-200 kg of FYM/compost or vermicompost and broadcast uniformly over an acre of field. Irrigate immediately.
