Mode of Action

• Soil Colonization: Upon application, the dormant KMB bacteria awaken, multiply rapidly, and colonize the plant's root zone (rhizosphere).
• Biological Weathering: The bacteria secrete specific organic acids (such as tartaric acid, citric acid, and succinic acid) and enzymes.
• Mobilization: These natural acids break down the tough silicate bonds in the soil minerals, dissolving the insoluble potassium compounds.
• Plant Absorption: The previously trapped potassium is converted into a bio-available, soluble ionic form (K+) which is immediately absorbed by the plant roots.

Dosage

• Seed Treatment Dosage: 10 ml per kg of seeds.
•  Seedling / Root Dip Treatment Dosage: 10 ml to 15 ml per liter of water.
• Soil Application (Broadcasting) Dosage: 1 to 2 Liters per acre
• Drip Irrigation (Fertigation) Dosage: 1 to 2 Liters per acre.

Method Of Application

• Seed Treatment Method: Mix the liquid with a small amount of water and coat the seeds evenly. Dry them in the shade for 30 minutes before sowing.
• Seedling / Root Dip Treatment Method: Dip the roots of seedlings into the solution for 15 to 20 minutes before transplanting them into the main field.
• Soil Application (Broadcasting) Method: Mix the 1-2 liters of KMB liquid with 50-100 kg of well-decomposed Farmyard Manure (FYM), vermicompost, or moist soil. Leave the mixture under shade for 12-24 hours to allow the bacteria to multiply, then broadcast it evenly over one acre of land before sowing or during the early growth stage.
• Drip Irrigation (Fertigation) Method: Feed directly into the drip irrigation system so the bacteria are delivered straight to the root zone.

Additional Information

• No Chemical Mixing: Never mix BACF KMB with chemical weedicides, harsh insecticides, or chemical fertilizers (especially bactericides or copper-based fungicides) in the same tank.
• Timing: If you must apply chemical pesticides, keep a gap of at least 5 to 7 days before or after applying the biofertilizer.
• Moisture is Key: Biofertilizers contain living organisms. Ensure the soil has adequate moisture when applying KMB to help the bacteria survive and spread.
• Storage: Store the bottle in a cool, dry place, strictly away from direct sunlight and heat.

The formulation has zero phytotoxicity, meaning it will not burn or harm plant tissue. It is recommended for almost all crops, including:
