AGRILIFE AGRIVAM

• Agrivam is a biological fertilizer based on a selected strain of naturally-occurring beneficial fungus Rhizophagus irregularis (MUCL 57021). Rhizopha gus irregulars is an endomy corrhizal fungus which colonizes plant roots and form symbiotic relationships with plant roots. It is used as an effective soil inoculant product. Agrivam contains spores of Rhizophagus irregulars.

Technical Content

• Agrivam contains conidiospores of Rhizophagus irregulars. The composition is customized to comply with regulatory guide lines of respective countries. Rhizophagus irregulars a proprietary strain and compliant with National Bio Diversity Authority guidelines and has Access Benefit Sharing (ABS) agreement with the State Bio Diversity Board for payment of royalty to the habitat from where the microbes have been isolated.

MODE OF ACTION

• Symbiosis: The growing roots of plants emit root exudates as they push through the soil substrate. This gives the fungi the signal to colonize the roots and establish symbiosis. The mycorrhiza penetrates into the root cortex by forming nutrient exchange structures such as arbuscules within the root cells. Once roots are colonized, the process is self-sustain able and the fungus grows inside plant roots producing spores and mycelia PGP effect: The presence of AgriVAM® affects the composition of microbes in the rhizosphere. Some of these microbes in association with Mycorrhiza have a Plant growth promoting effect on plant health
