About Suntech Vega Insecticides

• VEGA Insecticide is a Suntech Agriscience product. It contains Thiamethoxam 25% WG. It is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action from the neonicotinoid group.
• VEGA Insecticide is used against aphids, jassids, thrips, whiteflies, brown planthopper (BPH), green leafhopper (GLH), stem borer, gall midge, shoot fly, mosquito bug, and other sucking and chewing pests.
• It is recommended on cotton, rice, tomato, groundnut, sugarcane, wheat, maize, chilli, okra, mango, and other major vegetable crops.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Rapidly absorbed by foliage, roots, and seeds, translocating systemically through the plant vascular system with contact and stomach action.
• Mode of Action: Binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the insect central nervous system, disrupting nerve signal transmission and leading to paralysis and death.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 0.3 g – 0.5 g (approx. 5 g – 8 g per 15-litre spray pump
• Per Acre (Foliar Spray): 40 g – 80 g in 150–200 litres of water (for field crops & vegetables
• Per Acre (Soil Application / Drenching): 100 g – 200 g in 200–400 litres of water (for crops like sugarcane & citrus)
