• SUNMITE Insecticide & Acaricide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Propargite 57% EC.
• It is a broad-spectrum, specialized sulfite-ester acaricide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), delivering fast knockdown, contact, stomach, and vapor action with long-lasting residual control against various phytophagous mite species.
• SUNMITE is used against red spider mites, two-spotted spider mites, yellow mites, pink mites, purple mites, and scarlet mites.
• It is recommended on tea, chilli, cotton, brinjal, tomato, apple, citrus, grapes, and pulses.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Non-systemic foliar acaricide acting predominantly through direct contact, stomach ingestion, and strong secondary vapor action to reach hidden mites under the leaf canopy.
• Mode of Action: Sulfite ester chemistry that acts as an inhibitor of mitochondrial ATP synthase, disrupting cellular energy production and ATP synthesis in mites, resulting in rapid paralysis and mortality across motile life stages (larvae, nymphs, and adults).

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 2.0 ml – 2.5 ml (approx. 30 ml – 40 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Foliar Spray - Field & Vegetable Crops): 400 ml – 500 ml in 150–200 litres of water (for chilli, brinjal, tomato, and cotton)
