• SUNGOAL Herbicide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Oxyfluorfen 23.5% EC.
• It is a selective, pre-emergence and early post-emergence diphenyl ether herbicide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), delivering powerful residual and contact control against a wide spectrum of annual broadleaf weeds and grasses.
• SUNGOAL Herbicide is used against Chenopodium album, Amaranthus viridis, Portulaca oleracea, Digitaria sanguinalis, Echinochloa spp., Cyperus iria, Boerhavia diffusa, and Euphorbia spp.
• It is recommended for onion, garlic, tea, potato, groundnut, direct-seeded/transplanted paddy (rice), cotton, and mentha.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Absorbed primarily by the shoots, hypocotyls, and foliage of germinating and emerging weed seedlings, acting as a strong contact herbicide on foliage and forming a lethal chemical barrier across the soil surface.
• Mode of Action: Protoporphyrinogen Oxidase (PPO) Inhibitor (HRAC Group 14 / E). In the presence of sunlight, it triggers lipid peroxidation of cell membranes, causing rapid loss of membrane integrity, cell leakage, rapid desiccation, and complete necrosis of sensitive weed tissue within 24 to 48 hours.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 1.0 ml – 1.5 ml (approx. 15 ml – 20 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Pre-emergence / Pre-transplant in Onion & Field Crops): 150 ml – 250 ml in 150–200 litres of water using a flat-fan or floodjet nozzle on well-prepared, moist soil.
