About Suntech Sunglow Insecticides
- SUNGLOW Insecticide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
- It contains Lambda-Cyhalothrin 4.6% + Chlorantraniliprole 9.3% ZC.
- It is an advanced, broad-spectrum pre-mix insecticide formulated with innovative ZC technology (a combination of Capsule Suspension and Suspension Concentrate), providing rapid knockdown alongside extended, long-lasting residual control against both chewing and sucking insect pests.
- SUNGLOW Insecticide is used against bollworms (American, pink, and spotted bollworms), fall armyworms (Spodoptera frugiperda), stem borers, leaf folders, diamondback moths (DBM), fruit and shoot borers, pod borers, semiloopers, and thrips.
- It is recommended on cotton, paddy (rice), maize, chilli, tomato, brinjal, cabbage, pigeon pea, chickpea, and soybean.

- Mode of Entry: Exhibits strong translaminar and systemic movement through plant tissues along with foliar contact action, acting rapidly through contact and stomach (ingestion) pathways.
- Mode of Action: Dual synergistic mode of action where Chlorantraniliprole (diamide group) activates insect ryanodine receptors (RyRs), causing uncontrolled release of internal calcium stores, muscle paralysis, and rapid cessation of feeding; Lambda-Cyhalothrin (synthetic pyrethroid) modifies voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve axons, providing instantaneous knockdown and mortality.

Dosage per Acre
- Per Litre of Water: 0.4 ml – 0.5 ml (approx. 6 ml – 8 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
- Per Acre (Foliar Spray): 80 ml – 100 ml in 150–200 litres of water (for cotton, paddy, maize, vegetables, and pulses)
