• SAANVI 4G Insecticide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Cartap Hydrochloride 4% GR.
• It is a broad-spectrum, systemic nereistoxin-analogue insecticide in a convenient granular (GR) formulation designed for broadcast and soil application to provide long-lasting protection against chewing, biting, and stem-boring pests.
• SAANVI 4G Insecticide is used against yellow stem borers, leaf folders, whorl maggots, gall midges, early shoot borers, top borers, and root grubs.
• It is recommended on paddy (rice), sugarcane, maize, and vegetable crops.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Absorbed efficiently by the root system through systemic action and translocated upward throughout the plant tissues, controlling pests via contact and stomach (ingestion) action.
• Mode of Action: Nereistoxin analogue that blocks the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) ion channel in the central nervous system of insects, blocking neuromuscular transmission, leading to rapid feeding cessation, paralysis, and death.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Acre (Broadcasting / Soil Application): 7.5 kg – 10.0 kg per acre (broadcast evenly in standing water of 2–3 cm in paddy or applied in furrows along crop rows followed by light irrigation)
• Per Acre (Sugarcane Furrow Application): 10.0 kg – 12.0 kg per acre (applied at the time of planting or earthing up)
