About Suntech Classiar Insecticides

• CLASSIAR Insecticide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Permethrin 25% EC. It is a broad-spectrum, photostable synthetic pyrethroid insecticide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), delivering fast knockdown, contact, and stomach action along with strong repellent properties against a wide range of chewing and biting insect pests.
• CLASSIAR Insecticide is used against bollworms (American bollworm, pink bollworm, spotted bollworm), shoot and fruit borers, diamondback moths (DBM), leaf folders, cutworms, semiloopers, and pod borers.
• It is recommended on cotton, chilli, tomato, brinjal, cabbage, cauliflower, okra, pulses, and oilseeds.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Non-systemic foliar insecticide that penetrates insect cuticle quickly upon direct contact and ingestion (stomach action), accompanied by strong anti-feedant and repellent activity.
• Mode of Action: Type I synthetic pyrethroid that modifies voltage-gated sodium channels in the nerve axonic membranes of insects, delaying channel closing, leading to prolonged repetitive nerve firing, rapid knockdown, paralysis, and pest death.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 1.0 ml – 1.5 ml (approx. 15 ml – 25 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Foliar Spray): 150 ml – 250 ml in 150–200 litres of water (for cotton, vegetables, and pulses)
