• CARLO Insecticide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Pymetrozine 50% WG.
• It is a highly selective, modern pyridine-azomethine insecticide formulated as water-dispersible granules (WG), offering powerful systemic, translaminar, and anti-feedant action specifically designed to control damaging planthoppers and sucking pests.
• CARLO Insecticide is used against Brown Plant Hoppers (BPH), White-Backed Plant Hoppers (WBPH), Green Leafhoppers (GLH), aphids, whiteflies, and jassids. It is recommended on paddy (rice), cotton, vegetables (chilli, tomato, okra, potato), and citrus.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Absorbed rapidly through foliage and plant vascular tissues with strong acropetal systemic and translaminar movement, acting via ingestion and contact.
• Mode of Action: Acts as a chordotonal organ TRPV channel modulator; it interferes with the insect's nervous coordination and stylet function, causing immediate and irreversible cessation of feeding within hours, leading to hopper paralysis, starvation, and mortality.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 0.6 g – 0.8 g (approx. 10 g – 12 g per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Foliar Spray - Paddy/BPH): 120 g – 150 g in 150–200 litres of water (spray directed towards the base of paddy hills)
