• 2,4-D PRIME Herbicide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL (Dimethylamine salt).
• It is a selective, systemic, post-emergence phenoxy carboxylic acid herbicide formulated as a soluble liquid concentrate (SL), delivering reliable and economical control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and sedges in graminaceous crops and non-cropped lands. 2,4-D PRIME Herbicide is used against Trianthema monogyna, Amaranthus viridis, Chenopodium album, Cyperus iria, Cyperus difformis, Convolvulus arvensis, Eichhornia crassipes (water hyacinth), Parthenium hysterophorus, Striga spp., Portulaca oleracea, and Commelina benghalensis.
• It is recommended for sugarcane, maize (corn), wheat, transplanted paddy (rice), sorghum, and aquatic/non-cropped areas.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Rapidly absorbed by active green foliage, stems, and root systems, moving systemically through both phloem and xylem vessels to accumulate at the actively growing meristems of target broadleaf weeds.
• Mode of Action: Synthetic Auxin / Auxin Mimic (HRAC Group 4 / O). It mimics the natural plant hormone indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) at lethal concentrations, inducing uncontrolled cell elongation, vascular tissue proliferation, severe stem curling (epinasty), petiole twisting, vascular collapse, and complete weed mortality within 7 to 14 days.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 2.5 ml – 3.5 ml (approx. 40 ml – 50 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Post-Emergence Spray - Sugarcane, Wheat, Maize): 400 ml – 600 ml in 150–200 litres of water (apply at 30–35 days after sowing/planting or at 2 to 4-leaf stage of broadleaf weeds).
