Black thrips(THRIPS PARVISPINUS) have become a major insect pest in recent days for chili and capsicum crops. These thrips are also called western trips/flower thrips. These can spread to tomato, brinjal, potato, and other vegetable crops. The black thrips were only found on the crops like some citrus species plants and most of the time they were more serious on flower crops viz. Gerbera, rose and others.        Recently the invasion started happening on the capsicum and chilli. Farmers started wondering about these black thrips and also found to difficult to get rid of them with regular management...
