Branch rot/dieback mainly occurs when the crop begins to flowering. Small circular to irregular brownish black scattered spots appears on leaves, severely infected leaves will fall down. Infection spreads to growing tips, causing death of growing tips from tip to backward. It affects pedicel of flowers, resulting in shrivel, drying and shedding of flowers leading to major yield loss. Produce low quality fruits, if it affects fruits, leads to rooting of fruits. It should be maintained effectively otherwise leads to major yield loss.
