In many parts of India, soil fertility is generally poor, especially because they lack micronutrients and macronutrients due to continuous cultivation for a very long time without addition of micro/macro nutrient fertilizers. This causes nutrient deficiency in soil. This deficiency can be removed by addition of water soluble fertilizers in soil, which helps to reduce nutrient deficiency.
