Micronutrients play an important role in the resistance mechanisms of plants against pathogens, and increase in micro-nutrient concentrations in soils significantly prevent pathogenic infections.

Boron micronutrient plays a main role in the synthesis of defensive compounds in plant tissues which hinder the fungal attachment to the host plant therefore avoiding the infections.

Boron application and amendment to the crops by soil application reduces soil borne plant fungal diseases like Fusarium wilt, Plasmodiophora wilt, and Verticillium wilts on various plants. Manganese Micronutrient

Manganese micronutrient in the plant system increases the production of soluble phenols, which play a vital role in plant resistance mechanisms against fungal pathogens. Pectin methyl esterase enzyme required by any pathogenic organism to penetrate in to plant cell walls is inhibited by supplementing the plants with Manganese nutrient.

Zinc Micronutrient [Zn]

Zinc acts as a cofactor of plant defense enzymes and it also affects membrane stability of plant cell making strong inhibiting pathogen entry in to the plant cell.

Regulated pH may increase the availability of manganese for the plant and increase pathogen tolerance. Chlorine nutrient can be applied on foliar application and soil application. Chlorine nutrient is available in mixture along with other micronutrients.

Molybdenum Micronutrient [Mo] also produces phenolic compounds which are associated with carbohydrates that have important role in plant defense mechanisms. Molybdenum nutrient can be applied on foliar application and soil application. Molybdenum nutrient is available in mixture along with other micronutrients.
